This year, as we celebrate the 125th Birthday of the Old Courthouse Museum we are reminded that the Old Courthouse and the Historical Society have had long history together.
We hope you will help us to continue to keep the voices and stories our Old and New Settlers alive for future generations by supporting our 2014 Annual Appeal. Your gift will enable us to sustain our Museum sites, develop tours, educational programs, and exhibits. It will also ensure the future of the Research Center and our collection of artifacts.
To make a donation please contact Executive Director Patricia Lutz at (262) 335-4678 or email@example.com
The Society traces its roots to the winter of 1873-74 when the Old Setters’ Club was established at the Washington House in West Bend, Wisconsin. Over the last century our collections have grown to number thousands of artifacts, photographs, and documents housed in three unique museums and one historic site.
The Washington County Historical society operates four distinct museums that tell the unique history of Washington County. Over 30,000 artifacts are part of the varied collections that tell the story of a community that harmoniously blended rural living and the industrial age.
Throughout the year, the Washington County Historical Society offers a wide range of family orientated programs.
Make your event memorable by holding it in our beautifully restored 1889 Courtroom. From weddings and birthdays to holiday parties the Courtroom is a beautiful and unique site for your event.
